We don't yet know which Amiibo will be supported, nor do we know what sort of items they may provide in-game, but we do at least know that the support is there. Shacknews was able to learn this information on the showroom floor of PAX West 2018, through a Blizzard developer who was able to confirm that Amiibo functionality had been added. A release for Nintendo's hybrid handheld would provide a fresh opportunity for players to reap souls on-the-go, and now a Blizzard developer has revealed that the Switch version of Diablo 3 will also include Amiibo support.
Game fans will surely remember hearing that Blizzard's hit RPG Diablo 3 is soon to make its way over to the Nintendo Switch.
